My feet grew weary
I've been aimlessly pacing around my room. Twelve (12) times I asked, "What went wrong?" for another eleven (11), I asked, "Why? Why?"
Seemed like I had formed a song out of my aimless muse.
I couldn't wrap my head around the exact reasons as to why the rhythm beneath my chest galloped stubbornly.
Perspiration broke into little beads of sweat around my forehead
There I was I've been a fool
My beating heart - a toying tool.
She's a ten (10) but she's talking to nine (9) different guys
She looks quiet and innocent but in a space of eight (8) days
She uses seven (7) of those guys to pass away time
Obviously, because she's bored and craves attention
Sucks Right?
But Sadly she always has six (6) silly reasons
Why she can't date you
Some of which might be because you're five feet four (5ft 4),
Crazy yeah, but definitely she won't tell you
Because she enjoys you in torment
So she keeps on engaging you in flirty conversations
Three (3) times she called it off
You cried, pleaded, beckoned on her mercy
Were you charmed?
You ponder and ponder why.
Because even when you try to Ring her cellular
Two (2) missed calls is already a big number
So you try to play a fool, Ignore the truth
Dance to her tune all you want
But deeply You know You have never and never will be the one (1).
In a moment, all the precious years shared,
savoury episodes and songs we chaired
moments of gold trodden underfoot to dross

Forgotten, broken, now sealed with a tear
From our very first kiss
To our forever miss
Her last words resonated around the walls of my heart
Her words pierced like the incisions of a surgeon,

"I have zero (0) feelings for you.
