The world of creativity, especially when it comes to poetry, it knows no bounds. However, there are days where the blurry clouds hover over the stables of your mind. At other times, you might just want to brighten the hue of your muse and mental output.
If you've found yourself in any other categories mentioned above, well I've got good news for you. This article explores crucial hints, clues and options that would optimise your muse, bring a new face and stir the waters of your muse to get flowing./

Buckle in let's get started.
Seven (7) Easy Ways to Optimise Creativity
1. READ BOOKS

Read books that inspire you to be creative. Spurring your muse in poetry comes by frequent exposure to materials that unveil the possibilities of more.

On countless occasions, I've found myself re-reading a book that "blessed" me in no small way. Feel free to dig up the depths of a bool, a material, an author that your ink tilts towards.
2. GET YOUR FEET MOVING

Aimless walking or driving have been proven to be both therapeutic and inspiring. There’s something about leaving the comfort zone of your room and looking at the world for no reason.

Yes, sometimes from these exercises you draw creative ideas for your song, painting, photography, poetry or film. Most times, your brain just breathes and resets and feels recharged to work.
3. ATTEND HEALTHY & INSPIRING CONVERSATIONS

Conversations with inspiring people. Connect with people who inspire you. There's just something about having a soothing conversation in the company kindred minds.

Reminds me of the wideapread adage looming across Africa, "Two heads are better than one." Someone rephrased the maxim saying, "Two good heads are better than one." Yeah, it’s awesome to connect with other creatives - just being with them can be inspiring as they share their experiences - but it’s equally great to be with people who may not be classified as artists or creatives but whose presence, personality or words are refreshing.
4. VISIT A LIBRARY

Consider a visit to the library. Even if you’re not going there to read, being in the presence of books written across centuries and continents can spur inspiration. Walk between those shelves, touch the books, smell them, look at the titles and authors names.
5. GET STUCK IN ART

Artistic spaces - exhibitions, galleries, museums. Looking at the wonderful works that other artists have created, regardless of your creative genre, can be inspiring.
Visiting museums or gallerie can birth something in your mind and this might just be an upward spark toward an vibrant writing skill.
6. KEEP IN TOUCH WITH YOURSELF

Solitude and meditation. Learn to be in touch with yourself. Practicing solitude helps you grow in knowing yourself, understanding what’s going on in your mind and your life, and in your world. Creatives have practiced being alone for centuries and have found it an indispensable part of their life and art.
7. WRITE FOR NO GOOD REASON

Free writing can be magical. You don’t want to write on a selected idea; you just write continuously for a period of time on the ideas that flow in your in the moment. You don’t edit any thing. You just let things flow. This is a powerful way of unlocking windows of creative ideas.
